Crystal Carol is a fiercely passionate innovator, gifted with an unconventional fluidity of vocal stylings ranging from Classical, Popular, Broadway and R&B to Gospel. Her unique vision for performance, choreography and directing has led to commissions for European and US national tours and guest performances in the cruise line industry. She has been a guest soloist in masterpieces including Handel’s Messiah and Bach's Magnificat as well as performing internationally in Three Mo' Tenors, Amahl and the Night Visitors, Ain't Mis'Behavin, Raisin, Cookin'at the Cookery, Behold the Lamb and Disney's The Festival of the Lion King. This is artistry she honed studying under world-renowned voice teachers Florence Birdwell and Susan Eichorn Young, Broadway conductors Joseph Joubert and Shelton Becton, and master directors Mercedes Ellington, Marion Caffey and David Schram. Crystal acquired a BA degree from Greensboro College and MA from Oklahoma City University in theatre arts.
